The One-Page Year
Four themes, twelve months, one sheet you can actually see. Undated, so it works every year you own it.

The One-Page Year
Description
This will not fix next year. It will make next year legible, which is a smaller promise and a more useful one.
Annual planning usually fails in the third week of January, for a structural reason rather than a moral one: twelve goals is more than anyone can hold in their head, so the list stops being a plan and becomes a document. Once it is a document, it lives in a drawer.
Inside
- The One Page — twelve months, one sentence each. The whole year at a glance.
- The A3 wall sheet — the same page, printed big, for somewhere you’ll see it without looking for it.
- The Year Review — two sheets, done before any planning. Facts only, no scoring.
- Four, not twelve — the argument for the number, with three tests a theme has to pass.
- Twelve monthly resets — one page each, same five questions, with a four-week strip.
- The Quarterly Honest Check and the Not This Year page, which is the one most people skip and the one that does the most work.
Undated by design
Month names only. No years, no weekday grids. Print it again every November for as long as it’s useful.
Who this isn’t for
Anyone who wants goal-setting doctrine. No SMART goals, no vision boards, no manifesting. It is written for someone who has failed at annual planning before and expects to again.
